Beaches, Surfing & Coasteering in Cornwall...

Cornwall is well known for its beautiful sandy beaches and dramatic coastline. It's very easy to under
estimate the power of the ocean. Beach safety is paramount and all adults supervising children should
make them aware of any currents and riptides and supervise them at all times. Below is a list of beaches
in Cornwall that have lifeguards present.

NOTE: Not all the beaches have constant supervision. To check whether lifeguards are present at the
times you wish to visit, please check with the RNLI. Even though lifeguards may be present at a beach,
this does not necessarily guarantee your, or your children's, safety. ALWAYS supervise young children,
they are the age group most at risk. Remember, there is no substitute for common sense!

Longrock Beach - Marazion lifeguards keep an eye on the eastern end of the beach during the summer
